Wetlands and Streams
VWW is pleased to present the "Foggy Bottom Wetland Mitigation Bank" and the "Ritchie Road Wetland Mitigation Bank". These two Wetland Banks combine for over 50 acres of created habitat dedicated to the preservation of wetlands, streams, and uplands.
The Foggy Bottom Wetland Bank, located along Cedar Run in Prince William County, services the Potomac River Watershed covering the Hydrologic Unit Codes of 02070008, 02070010, and a portion of 02070011. These codes include all of the land within the counties of Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince William, and portions of Fauquier, and Stafford.
The Ritchie Road Wetland Bank, located along Ritchie Road in Fauquier County, services the Rappahannock River Watershed covering the Hydrologic Unit Codes of 02080103 and 02080104. These codes include all of the land within the counties of Rappahannock, Madison, Culpeper, Essex, and Richmond.
